What the business does

ITM Power makes proton exchange membrane electrolysers for hydrogen production. Its official materials describe modular products and larger plant systems. The company’s AIM Rule 26 page identifies its London market ticker as ITM; this article does not supply a current share price or valuation.

Separate the equipment from the project

An electrolyser’s technical capability is one part of a wider customer project. A description of what equipment can do does not establish that every proposed installation has been funded, built or commissioned. Read the customer’s milestones as well as the supplier’s product claims.

An investor’s reading list

In subsequent company announcements, distinguish an opportunity from an order, an order from delivery and delivery from recognised revenue and collected cash. Those stages answer different questions about progress. This is a framework for reading disclosures, not a statement that a particular contract has reached any one stage.

The next document matters

Use the company’s current releases and financial reports to check project updates, revenue recognition, cash use and the terms of any announced commitments. A sector narrative cannot replace those records.
